Barbara Lewis and Dan Otto met at the Anderson Graduate School of
Management at UCLA when they enrolled in the Executive MBA program. With complementary
skills and years of experience, Barbara and Dan teamed up to form Centurion Consulting
Group to assist businesses in solving problems through the use of computer models. Many of
the Firms clients are referred from international business consultants who are
professors at the Anderson Graduate School of Management. Other clients come from
referrals from Centurion Consulting Groups clients whose problems have been solved.
Frequently, Barbara and Dan give presentations to national and regional organizations
about computer model building, marketing, financial and operational management.
Theyve made presentation to the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals,
the California State Bar Association, the Rotary Club, UCLA Law School, etc.

Barbara Lewis, MBA Barbara began her career as a reporter for national publications
and wrote for the Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press, the Los Angeles Times, the
Dallas Times Herald, among others. She has been involved in strategic planning and
marketing, both as a consultant and an in-house marketing director since 1978.
Barbara became a consultant in 1990 and has developed strategic, business and marketing
plans for national, regional, local firms and individuals. She has facilitated strategic
planning sessions, established marketing departments, hired marketing directors,
implemented databases, conducted comprehensive research and trained professionals in
marketing.
Dan Otto, MBA
Dan has extensive experience in business, science and engineering. He is an
accomplished business consultant and analyst with quantitative, information,
communications systems, presentation and management skills. As a technical manager and
engineering specialist in the aerospace industry, Dan has had 13 years of experience in
the control of large-scale design and manufacturing programs. He has organized and managed
project teams in many disciplines including finance, engineering, design, manufacturing
operations, human resources and customer relations. He has also managed multi-million
dollar material and labor budgets. Dan has designed and implemented comprehensive
scheduling, tracking and cost control systems for logistical operations. He integrated PC
and mainframe systems into the planning, cost accounting, design, development and
manufacturing. |
